HISTORY

LYZEN: European Craftsmanship for Travel and Life

Brand Origins

LYZEN, born in a small town at the foot of the Alps, has been renowned since its founding in the 1970s for its deep understanding of cycling culture and masterful craftsmanship. Founder Emilio Rizzo, an Italian engineer, observed that cycling gear at the time was either overly specialized and lacking in comfort, or too casual and lacking in functionality. Thus, he resolved to create a brand that would serve both professional cyclists and casual enthusiasts alike.

Brand Story

In 1976, Emilio Rizzo opened his first workshop at the foot of the Alps. Starting with simple cycling gloves and helmets, LYZEN quickly gained recognition for its distinctive designs and masterful craftsmanship, soon supplying custom gear to Europe's premier cycling teams. Starting in 1985, LYZEN became an official partner for major races, supplying custom cycling gear to competitors.

Products & Services

After over 50 years of development, LYZEN remains steadfast in its pursuit of quality. In 2026, LYZEN decided to bring this European craftsmanship to the American market. We assembled a dedicated U.S. design team to deeply understand local needs, spending three years developing a series of products specifically designed for the American market. This includes shoes engineered for America's diverse terrains, lightweight yet high-visibility bike lights, and cycling glasses optimized for U.S. riding environments.

At LYZEN, we believe:

Every product carries half a century of heritage

Every cyclist deserves a fresh experience

Every ride is a conversation with nature

LYZEN: Making every journey unforgettable.
